L’uso delle costruzioni marcate nel teacher talk dell’insegnante di italiano L2 del Belgio francofono

- The aim of this article is to present and discuss the first results of a research study on the teacher talk (TT) for Italian as foreign language (IL2) teachers in Belgium. In particular, data from the pilot corpus of the study, conducted in the French-speaking area of the country, are analysed. The TT is examined from a morphosyntactic point of view, in order to track the presence or absence of some spoken features typical of neo-standard Italian: the marked constructions, i.e. structures that present modifications of the canonical order of the subject-verb-object (SVO) elements, to respond to pragmatic communication goals. TT features could be an indicator of the structure and specificity of the teachers' spoken Italian, and at the same time provide information on their linguistic and cultural identity. IL2 teachers in Francophone Belgium are in fact mostly of Italian origin. This suggests that their TT is probably influenced by their socio-biographic profile as well as their linguistic repertoire.
- L'objectif de cet article est de présenter et de discuter les premiers résultats d'une recherche sur le teacher talk (TT) des enseignants d'italien langue étrangère (IL2) en Belgique. En particulier, nous analysons les données du corpus pilote de l'étude, réalisée dans la zone francophone du pays. Le TT est examiné d'un point de vue morphosyntaxique, afin de repérer la présence ou l'absence de certaines caractéristiques orales typiques de l'italien néo-standard : les constructions marquées, c'est-à-dire les structures qui présentent des modifications de l'ordre canonique des éléments sujet-verbe-objet (SVO) pour répondre à des objectifs pragmatiques de la communication. Les caractéristiques du TT pourraient être un indicateur de la structure et de la spécificité de l'italien parlé des enseignants, et en même temps fournir des informations sur leur identité linguistique et culturelle. Les enseignants d'IL2 en Belgique francophone sont en fait majoritairement d'origine italienne. Cela suggère que leur TT est probablement influencé par leur profil sociobiographique ainsi que par leur répertoire linguistique.
- L'obiettivo di questo articolo è presentare e discutere i primi risultati di una ricerca sul teacher talk (TT) degli insegnanti di italiano come lingua straniera (IL2) in Belgio. In particolare, vengono analizzati i dati del corpus pilota dello studio, condotto nell'area francofona del Paese. Il TT viene esaminato da un punto di vista morfosintattico, per rintracciare la presenza o l'assenza di alcune caratteristiche tipiche dell'italiano neo-standard: le costruzioni marcate, cioè strutture che presentano modifiche dell'ordine canonico degli elementi soggetto-verbo-oggetto (SVO), per rispondere a obiettivi comunicativi pragmatici. Le caratteristiche di TT potrebbero essere un indicatore della struttura e della specificità dell'italiano parlato degli insegnanti, e allo stesso tempo fornire informazioni sulla loro identità linguistica e culturale. Gli insegnanti di IL2 nel Belgio francofono sono infatti per lo più di origine italiana. Ciò suggerisce che il loro TT è probabilmente influenzato dal loro profilo socio-biografico e dal loro repertorio linguistico.
