Evaluatie van de meertalige website fedasilinfo.be : onderzoeksrapport

Abstract
This evaluation report finalizes the research project "Evaluation of fedasilinfo.be", situated in the domain of multilingual and intercultural (digital) communication. The project aims was to evaluate the use and effectiveness of fedasilinfo.be. The website, managed by the Belgian reception authorities, aims to provide applicants of international protection (AIP) and service providers involved in their reception, with relevant and reliable information on 8 central themes in 14 different languages. For the evaluation of the website, we used a mixed-methods approach and collected three different datasets: (1) an online survey amongst collaborators (N=174), (2) individual interviews with refugees (N=31) and focus groups (N=9); and (3) screen capture recordings (N=26) of users searching for information about their asylum procedure. This research was carried out with project financing from Fedasil, Belgian Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (National Projects 2021).
