Abstract
Excavation of the A Field at Tell Tweini revealed various types of Middle Bronze Age graves, ranging from simple earth interments to jar burials and chamber tombs with single as well as collective graves. All burials were implemented within the confines of domestic structures and all appear to be undisturbed for millennia. The most substantial and elaborate entombment at Tweini is a communal grave, which is a typical burial type for the Middle Bronze Age. This large constructed tomb was revealed in squares A2-B2, in the northwest corner of Field A. The excavation of the tomb complex was undertaken during the 2004- 2005 campaigns.
