Universiteiten, proef Engels, toelatingsproef: slaagkansen, manipulatie, gezichtsbedrog

Abstract
Analysis of the public discussion about failing university students, and tests of English language for professors. Selection of students is proposed; but I argue that is cheating because it is not improving individual results. So is the proposal for publication of the results according to high schools so that individual schools are compared. Another way of cheating is to imperceptibly modify examination conditions. I am in favor that students who fail can do a year over; I have shown that age and experience at the university improve results. The ITACE test for academic English is difficult; so the Catholic University of Leuven invented its own test.
