Abstract
Het Europees Mensenrechtenhof heeft bepaald dat nieuwswebsites die hyperlinks toevoegen naar externe inhoud die strafbaar of onrechtmatig is, daarvoor niet automatisch aansprakelijk kunnen worden gesteld. Toch sluit het Hof niet uit dat in bepaalde omstandigheden de journalist of uitgever toch in de problemen kan komen: een belangrijk arrest dus voor online journalistiek en nieuwsplatforms.
