FLAT-RESPONSE BAND PASS FILTERS WITH ALL FINITE ZEROS IN ORIGIN OR AT INFINITY

Abstract
The coefficients of a general class of flat-response band pass filters having all their finite zeros located in the origin or at infinity are calculated. Besides the well-known Butterworth filters, some other types are obtained, that present a stronger attenuation in the high stop-band. Nevertheless their pass-band response remains flat. A method is discussed to determine the poles of such filters, realizing given cutoff frequencies.
Die Parameter einer Gruppe von flachen Bandpässen mit allen Nullstellen bei s = 0 und s = oo werden berechnet. Man erhält nicht nur die bekannten Butterworth-Filter sondern auch andere flache Bandpässe, wobei die Dämpfung im oberen Sperrband grosser ist. Es wird auf ein Berechnungsverfahren fiir die Pole solcher Filter mit festgelegtem Durchlassbereich eingegangen.
