Abstract
Crowdsourcing is changing the way mobility analyses are done. It provides big data streams of high spatio-temporal resolution, allowing advanced data analytics to be applied in order to capture mobility behavior and patterns. It enables us to learn from the data (e.g. to predict travel times or individuals’ mobility decision making process) but also to build innovative applications on top of this data stream. This poster presents some mobility insights developed based on the MOVE platform including personal mobility coaching via smartphone app, multimodal routing and simulation of the electric vehicle battery usage.
