Accounting education in Belgium: emerging areas within the accounting curriculum

Abstract
The chapter first describes the general background of education at the university level and then focusses on the accounting curriculum in the Bachelor/Master of Business Economics in Belgium. Emerging areas are identified, both from a research and practice-oriented view.
