Abstract
Mobile television, heralded as the next mass medium, brings together the industries of mobile and television technologies. Content, suited to the consumer's demands, is assumed to be a main key factor for the success of mobile television. As most trials to date are technology-driven, we aim for a more user-centric approach. To this end, a meta-analysis on mobile TV user studies was conducted, a panel of 35 experts was surveyed and a user study with 405 respondents was conducted. Based oft all results, a SWOT-analysis was performed for possible content on mobile TV.
