Wavelet based moving picture coding multiple line addressing for passive matrix displays

Author
Organization
Abstract
The combined wavelet coding of moving images and display driving of passive matrix displays architecture is proposed in this paper. New scalable video-coding structures allow us to integrate our passive matrix display driving architecture into the IDWT (inverse discrete wavelet transform) block of the scalable video decoding framework. This integration leads to reduced power consumption for portable terminals.
