  abstract     = {{Hamas leader Ahmed Jabari was killed by the Israelis while he was negociating a long term truce between Gaza and Israel, according to peace activist Gershon Baskin, who previously negociated the release of Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit. This is reported by Haaretz Nov 15th. The killing took place when the Tel-Aviv government started a new military offensive against the Gaza population. Baskin writes that this bloodshed could have been avoided, but that it will collect more votes for the Israeli prime minister in the upcoming elections. Next Sunday the choir of the Israeli army will perform in Antwerpen at the invitiation of B’nai B’rith and  Christians for Israel. Yves Leterme, previous prime-minister (Christian Democrats), and minister Monica De Coninck (Flemisch Socialists) were  programmed to welcome them, but have excused themselves.}},
