Remoción de sulfuro de dimetilo mediante biofiltración con bagazo de caña inoculado con Hyphomicrobium VS

Abstract
The removal of Dimethyl sulfide in a current of air was evaluated by means of the operation of a Biofilter that used sugarcane bagasse like support of the microorganisms. The Biofilter was inoculated with Hyphomicrobium VS and the behavior was analyzed for different operation variables like the removal efficiency (ER) and the elimination capacity (EC) being obtained the best remotion results for a flow of 0.03 m(3)/h with a ER of 97.6% and a EC 0.61 gDMS/m(3)h. Also carried out the characterization to the sugarcane bagasse used like support was realised, using the techniques of elementary analysis, infrared spectroscopy and electronic microscopy of sweeping.
