A semi-analytical model to simulate the direct shear pull-out behaviour of hooked-end steel fibres

abstract
Symmetrical push-through test specimens with two vertical sliding planes, each crossed by one single fibre, were used to investigate the transversal pull-out of hooked-end steel fibres. In this paper, the experimental results are presented and an analytical model to simulate the transversal pull-out behaviour is proposed.
