Abstract
In this article the results of a research project on bond behavior between concrete and reinforcement under monotonic, repeated and sustained load are described. For each load type a comparison is made between self-compacting concrete (SCC) and conventional vibrated concrete (CVC). In the event models already exist, they are validated with the obtained experimental results. Where significant differences are found, a proposal for a new model is made. In case of repeated loading three different bond stress levels with approximately the same number of load cycles were considered for each type of concrete. In case of sustained load a load level of 30% and 45% was applied on two cubes for each type of concrete.
