Sredstva magicheskoj kommunikatsii v narodnoj kul'ture vostochnykh slavjan

- Abstract
- In the article, the varieties of magic communication in the traditional culture of the East Slavs are surveyed. Stress will be layed upon magic texts, e.g.: magic spells, incantations, which are directed towards superior powers in the reality of medicine, house and love and upon other kinds of magic. The stress will further be layed upon ritual address to natural phenomena, demonic figures or defunct persons and upon prophecies about the future. To the scheme of the communicative act, containing the sender, the addressee, the code and the message, are added the object of the magic influence and the carrier - a real apparition or an object serving as medium for the magic message.
