Efficient polarization-based stereoscopic projector with extended color gamut: combining two projectors into one

Abstract
A prototype stereoscopic projection system is built to combine the functionality of two projectors with polarizers at the output of their projection lens into one optical engine. The system is adapted to enable wide color gamut visualization with up to six primary colors using light emitting diodes.
