Abstract
The Lorentz Workshop “Impressed by Reading - Measuring the impact” was held on 24-27 February 2025 at the Lorentz Center in Leiden. The overall aim of the workshop was to bring together researchers from a wide range of disciplines, all working in some way on investigating the impact of reading fiction on readers, and explore shared challenges and opportunities. A more specific aim was to start developing a roadmap of shared research questions and challenges and of steps we can take collaboratively to address those challenges. This Workshop was generously funded by the Lorentz Center in Leiden, the Impact \& Fiction project, the Golem project, and the Huygens Institute.
