Abstract
In this episode, Prof Clara Burbano Herrera has a conversation with Oscar Parra Vera, who is a judge at the Special Jurisdiction for Peace (JEP) in Colombia. They talk about the impact of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights’ case law on the design of the Special Jurisdiction for Peace. The Special Jurisdiction for Peace is tasked with investigating, clarifying, prosecuting and punishing the most serious crimes committed over the more than 50 years of armed conflict in Colombia, before December 2016.
