Abstract
The discovery of a haematite cylinder seal (LS1) at Pyla-Kokkinokremos offers valuable insights into the social dynamics of Late Bronze Age Cyprus and the Eastern Mediterranean. Found in an unrecovered cache from the site’s final occupation phase, the Linear Style seal is linked to Cyprus but reflects broader, interconnected practices of craft production and glyptic use across the region, including the Syro-Levantine area and mainland Greece. These seals, seen as high-prestige items, likely functioned as boundary objects within elite networks, signifying personal identity and affiliation.
