Abstract
This chapter examines the extent to which social media influencers are subject to the rules on unfair commercial practices when they promote third-party traders’ products to their followers. In addition, this chapter explores how the rules on unfair commercial practices, in so far as they apply, may deal with the disclosure issue, which remains one of the main concerns regarding influencers.
