Abstract
This dataset contains the phenology data and spring temperature data collected in mesocosms subjected to experimental microclimate warming and illumination in two forest understorey experiments, set in the Aelmoeseneie forest in Belgium (50°58′30″N, 3°48′16″E). The data for 2021 and 2022 are included in separate tabs, for each experiment. Metadata explaining different columns is provided on the fifth tab of the excel file.Data used for the analysis in 'Forest understorey flowering phenology responses to experimental warming and illumination' (Lorer et al., New Phytologist, 2023).
