- Abstract
- The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effectiveness of a virtual format of Camp Dream. Speak. Live., and to compare outcomes to previously published, in-person iterations of this intensive treatment program. Sixty-one children and teens who stutter participated in programming targeting communication, advocacy, resiliency, and education (C.A.R.E.). All intervention activities were modified for the virtual communicative environment. This session will discuss the efficacy of the adapted program in addition to considerations regarding accessibility, cultural and linguistic inclusivity, and clinical implications for virtual versus in-person implementation.
