Project: Optimization and application of Reference Methods based on Isotope Dilution Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry for quantification of serum components.

- The research project consists in the optimization of previously developed Reference Methods based on ID-GCMS for quantification of uric acid, creatinine, glucose, cholesterol and triglycerides in the biological matrix. These methods are intended for the determination of Reference Method Values for the above mentioned parameters in a number of control sera. The latter will subsequently be used for accuracy assessement in clinical chemistry.
