Project: Advanced molecular profiling of primary and relapse pediatric tumors for minimal residual disease detection and directed individualized salvage therapy

- Novel genomic techniques enable characterization of tumors with an unprecedented resolution. My project goal is to perform extensive molecular profiling of pediatric cancer patient tumors both at initial diagnosis but especially at relapse to be able to detect tumor characteristics that can help in minimal residual disease detection and in guiding the optimal personalized salvage therapy should conventional therapy fail.
