- Verbal and non-verbal, discursive and figurative language cannot be reduced to one another but express knowledge about different aspects of the world. Based on explicit ontological and epistemological premisses, it is attempted to account for these differences. Dyslexia is used as a case-study to relate neuropsychology and semantics.
