Project: The application of emulgators in pig and poultry feeding.

The research concerns in the first place an IN VITRO screening of the circumstances under which emulgators can improve the digestibility of fat and other nutrients. Thereafter the influence on the absorption in the small intestine will be studied IN VIVO, usingg the pig as a model, to get more insight in the mode of action. The results will be validated by digestibility and performance trials in pigs and poultry.
