Project: Blurring Boundaries. Comparative Research on Private Security in the Netherlands and Belgium.

- "Blurring Boundaries" is an empirical research on the methods of private security organizations in the Netherlands and Belgium. In each country 12 organizations will be studied, using interviews, participant observation and case studies, focusing on three concepts: 'compary order', methods of information gathering and normative frameworks. In conclusion, the comparison will be made with other public services: the police and the special inspection services.
