Project: Geophysical and archaeological survey of a threatened area situated at Rieme-Noord (NW Belgium)
01-JUL-09 – 31-DEC-09
This project aims at assessing the archaeological potential of an 60ha large area threatened by construction works. Given the environmental setting of this area (on top of a very large coversand ridge), the archaeological potential is estimated to be high. The assessment will be carried out using different survey techniques, such as drillings, deep profile pits, large trial trenches and geophysical techniques.
