Project: ADAPT - Towards an integrated decision tool for adaptation measures Case study: floods
01-JAN-09 – 31-DEC-09
Climate change will probably increase the risk on flooding in Belgium. The importance of the development of sustainable adaptation measures is therefore quite obvious. The overall objective of this project is to develop and demonstrate an efficient management tool being a cost-benefit analysis based instrument for the integrated assessment of adaptation measures against flooding. The developed methodology is tested in two river basins, the basin of the Dender and the basin of the Ourthe.
