Project: AURORA research project on solar cells with thin CIS films on glass beads
- project duration
- 01-OCT-06 – 31-MAR-08
- AURORA is a Dutch research project coordinated by Scheuten Glasgroep, Venlo. Thin film solar cells based on a CIS absorber (copper-indium-sulphur or CuInS2) are deposited on small glass beads, and assembled to larger cells and modules. UGent is a subcontractor of ECN and is measuring, analysing and modelling this new type of thin film solar cells.
