- In head and neck or rectal cancer IMRT and IMAT can reduce side effects but most locoregional relapses still occur in the high-dose regions. To target these regions, a KUL-UCL-Ugent collaboration aims to develop IMRT and IMAT techniques that use signal intensity of PET tracers to focus extra dose to intra-tumor foci of radiation resistance.
