Abstract

A liquid medium is applied for rooting and shoot elangation (stage III) on top of an established micropropagation culture. To gain a better insight in the beneficial effect of this double layer, the uptale of minerals and the kinetics of interchangebetween the solid and liquid layer are studied. Sequestration of hormones is investigated.
