Project: Intercomparison of methods for the determination of trans fatty acids in edible oils and fats.

This research proposal is aimed at preparing edible oil based certified reference materials which could be used in all kinds of laboratories concerned with TFA analysis. The CRM's developed in the project should (i) improve accuracy and robustness of TFA analyses in fatty materials and (ii) provide a means for method validation.
