Project: Development of a prevention tool to combat violence against refugee women and girls in Europe: a participatory approach

Abstract

This participatory research project develops a prevention tool which refugee women and men can use themselves to combat sexual and gender based violence. As community researchers refugees investigate prevalence of violence and perceptions on prevention. Based on the outcome, the tool will first be developed and piloted in Belgium, the Netherlands and the UK, after which further dissemination will follow.
