Project: Advanced thin-film technologies for cost effective photovoltaics ("ATHLET")

- The aim is to develop cost effective technologies for thin film photovoltaics based on chalcopyrites (copper-indium-gallium-selenide materials family), or on thin film silicon (amorphous and microcrystalline silicon) or on polycrystalline silicon on a host substrate. The University of Gent will test, analyze and model completed device structures provided by partners. The project is coordinated by the Hahn-Meitner Institute (HMI), Berlin, Germany.
