Project: Application of DC biology to the design of new immunotherapeutic interventions

project duration
01-JUL-07 – 31-DEC-11
Dendritic cells (DC) constitute the most important antigen presenting cells of the immune system that control the activation of T lymphocytes and determine war and peace in the immune system. This project will study the basic physiology of DCs and will apply this knowledge to the designe of novel immunotherapeutic interventions in the treatment of asthma, auto-immune disease and cancer.
