Project: Method development for interdisciplinary isotopic research via Multi-collector ICP – mass spectrometry
- project duration
- 01-JAN-06 – 31-DEC-09
- Development of methods (including isolation of the target element) for precise and accurate isotopic analysis of elements, showing natural variation in their isotopic composition, as a result of (a) decay of naturally occurring and long-lived radionuclides or (b) natural fractionation effects. Application of the methods in the context of among other, ecotoxicology, geology, vulcanology, paleoceanography and cosmochemistry. Use of tracer experiments with stable isotopes in the context of ecotoxicological studies.
