Project: Dendritic cell and chronic allergic airway inflammation.

2001-01-01 – 2002-12-31

Abstract

The influence of the dendritic cell on the development and maintenance of the allergic airway inflammation will be investigated in a murine model. Bone-marrow derived dendritic cells will be exposed in vitro to antigen and instilled intratracheally. The animals will then be exposed to inhaled antigen. In vitro manipulation of the dendritic cell will be used to stop or inhibit on ongoing allergic airway inflammation.
