Project: Influence of the Dynamic Ergodic Divertor on transport, radiation properties, and rotation of the carbon impurities in the TEXTOR tokamak

A new diagnosic is being prepared on the TEXTOR tokamak, where the first Dynamic Ergodic Divertor (DED) is installed. The diagnostic focuses on the study of the radiation efficiency, screening and rotation properties of the main intrinsic impurity carbon. In comparison with the predictions from transport codes this can lead to a better understanding of the influence of the DED on impurities.
