Project: Synthesis and structure-activity analysis of biological active molecules.

- The aim of this project is to develop bioactive products, inspired by natural derivatives, that show a differentiation in activity. More particularly, the synthesis and structure-activity relation will be examined of analogues of 1alpha,25-dihydroxyvitamine D3 (cell differentiation versus calcemic activity), himbacine (M2 subtype selective muscarinic receptor antagonist), estramycines (estrogene receptor selective diylderivatives) and of peptides with selectivity for polymerisation or depolymerisation of actin monomers.
