Project: A technical and biopharmaceutical study of the compression of film coated pellets.
01-JAN-00 – 31-DEC-02
Oral controlled release preparations are mainly administered as multi particulate systems (pellets). These is a growing interest to administer these pellets as tablets. During compression the polymer coat of pellets are damaged. The study looks at the use of microcrystalline waxes as cushioning agents during pellet compression.
