Abstract

In this research project, the influence of the Hungarian, Polish and Lithuanian EU Presidencies on the EU Eastern Neighbourhood policy is analysed in five areas: internal market, energy, migration, social policy and police cooperation. The extent of influence is measured, and variables determining this influence are examined: political weight, administrative capacity, networks, voting procedure, expertise, political progress of policy issues.
