Project: The interplay between (non-)communication about sexuality in private and public contexts and sexual experiences and sexual well-being in women with spinal cord injury

01/10/14 – 30/09/16

Abstract
Five studies using thematic analysis, IPA, and/or autoethnography (1) explore how women with spinal cord injury perceive their sexuality and how these perceptions are related to their communication experiences about sexuality in intimate encounters (with partners, close friends) and more public contexts (healthcare, media, education), (2) compare the women’s findings with the experiences from actors from private and public contexts.
