Project: Investigating the role of the dopaminergic midbrain in cognitive control and motivation in humans
- project duration
- 01-OCT-11 – 30-SEP-14
- The present project is aimed at investigating the complex role of the dopaminergic system in cognitive control, specifically at the intersection with motivation. By employing reward-modulated conflict paradigms and combining different neuroimaging techniques, functional magnetic resonance imaging and electroencephalography, we hope to illuminate the interactions between cortical and subcortical brain regions during the behavioral modulations and adjustments in human participants.
