Project: Use of microbial proteases in pig nutrition

abstract
The aim of the project is the upgrading of the nutritional value of plant proteins used in growing and early weaned piglets by application of proteases in the feed. Especially the potential reduction of the antigenicity of leguminous proteins by using proteases will be studied in relation to the gut flora development and the mucosal health status. The results will be evaluated in the context to early weaning of piglets
