Project: In vitro and in vivo evaluation of thermic modified starches as hydrophilic matrix for oral "sustained release" preparations.
- project duration
- 01-JAN-00 – 31-DEC-99
- The aim of this study is to characterize thermic modified starches, to use them as basis for preparations with sustained release. Once the starches are characterized, they are loaded with the model drug theophylline, for which it is interesting to obtain sustained release. The release profile is studied in vitro and for selected forms in vivo in experimental animals and humans.
