- At the department of Electronics and Information systems of the university of Gent research is conducted on several optoelectronic devices: solar cells, electroluminescent layers, liquid crystals, infrared measurements. We want to enhance our optical measurement facilities in order to better characterize and model our devices. This project aims to measure solar cells in a spectrum closely matched to the sun, to measure dynamic transients in electroluminescent and liquid crystal displays, and to measure emissivity coefficients of electronic materials in the thermal infrared.
