Project: A combined dissolution, delamination and catalysis approach to upcycling of multilayered packaging materials
2021-03-01 – 2022-12-31
- Abstract
The MULTILAYER project is looking for innovative solutions to achieve carbon circularity for multi-layer plastics, especially packaging film waste. A balanced combination of recycling by dissolution, delamination, chemical cleavage and catalysis is used to recover the most important or valuable components from three selected film types.
