Project: Role of the pentatricopeptiderepeat protein PPR-like 1 as an integrator of ethylene respons and other signaling routes in Arabidopsis

Abstract

First the expression pattern of the SLO1 gene will be investigated, as well as the prevelance of the protein. Second, global changes in transcriptome expression in mutant slo1 background will be monitored, indicating the cellular processes that are mosthly affected by this mutation. Finally the RNA-binding properties of SLO1 will be analyzed and if relevant, interaction partners will be identified.
