Project: Identification of candidate membrane receptor cDNAs from Sesbanaia rostrata and the study of their possible role during nodulation.
- project duration
- 01-OCT-00 – 30-SEP-04
- I will study the signal perception during nodulation of Sesbania rostrata by Azorhizobium caulinodans. My research is a bout the identification of receptors during this process. The technics are subtration, macro-arrays analysis and PCR with degenerating primers and a gene knock-outs. When there is evidence for a role during nodulation, a further analysis (autophosphorylation assay, immunolocalization, orthologes search) will be preformed.
